Resources for Typing

Free Touch Typing practice

I really like this online typing practice. It allows the user to change the background color and select the text to practice by pasting it into the box. This way students may practice the actual text that they are expected to type.

It also includes lessons of specific keys as do purchased programs.

Teachers are enabled to make 15 custom lessons for the students. When you modify the text files do not delete the lessonX= at the beginning of the file. (50 KB)

Shareware programs are those that you may use for a time and are requested to send in a nominal fee to the developer if you decide to continue to use it.
